Michael Brown

OBJECTIVE ACCOUNT OF EVENTS

  • Michael Brown and his friend walked in the middle of the street
  • Officer Darren Wilson used profanity and bad words to tell them to get off the street
  • Brown and his friend said that they'll be out of the street shortly
  • Almost his Brown and friend with the door
  • Johnson stopped beside Brown and, still in his car, grabbed Brown by the neck
  • Brown tries to pull away but Wilson kept pulling him back
  • Johnson threatens that he's going to shoot
  • Brown runs away with his hands in the air
  • Johnson shoots Brown multiple times; shoots him to death
  • Officer Darren Wilson had no punishment and was on paid administrative leave.

This case was unfair because in the homicide of Michael Brown, officer Wilson was let out in a paid leave with no charges after shooting and killing an unarmed, noncombatant civillian. Michael Brown was black and tall; causing officer Johnson to come to the belief that Michael was dangerous thus shooting him. Do you guys see how stereotypes blind and cause us to see things differently?

  1. Seriously? Did you look at the facts before publishing this? Time for a long correction. First of all, profanity and "bad words" are the same thing. Michael Brown robbed a convenience store before he was seen walking on the street. Darren Wilson was heading over on report of the crime. He came across Brown and Dorian Johnson walking on the street and asked them to get on the sidewalk. Johnson taunted him first then Brown, Wilson never came into physical contact at that point nor threatened to shoot. He started shooting after Brown started assaulting him, which he did right after getting caught trying to take his gun. He ran away but then turned back with his arms up which an autopsy proved that it was not in a surrendering position, but a charging position. Darren Wilson fired at Brown hoping he would stop but then had to shoot Brown's head because his life really was at stake.
This really irritates me how people never look at the facts and simply blame racism. How would you like it if anyone, no matter what color they are, tried to assault you? There was a shooting where one black man shot and killed 8 whites under claims of a racist environment. The facts were that he was caught stealing from the company he worked at and all other minority workers said there was no racism.
